The Riab banking kiosk (Post Bank) is located near Khalo Isa Eco-Lodge and the village’s Jameh Mosque. It provides basic banking services such as opening Qarz al-Hasanah savings accounts, receiving and transferring funds, and offering Qarz al-Hasanah loans to eligible applicants. Access to these services within the village reduces the need for residents to travel daily to Gonabad for banking matters, resulting in savings of both time and cost. Loans provided by the Post Bank for home-based employment projects, including handicrafts and eco-tourism enterprises, have played an effective role in the economic empowerment of Riab’s women and youth.
