The Golshan Garden Pavilion was registered on Iran’s National Heritage List on 13 August 2005 under Registration No. 13170.
This Qajar-era structure is located within a historic garden near the old fabric of Riab. Its architecture includes an elevated veranda overlooking the garden, a windcatcher, a domed hall, and a stone pool positioned in front of the veranda.
The term “Koushk” refers to an elevated structure built within a garden and traditionally used by aristocratic families for leisure and recreation during the warmer months of the year.
Today, the Golshan Garden Pavilion is one of the principal destinations for cultural tourists seeking to understand the traditions of Persian garden design in hot and arid climates. The restoration and preservation of the pavilion remain a priority for the village administration.
