Ghavamiyeh Eco-Lodge, which is in fact the historic Alipour House, is located within the old fabric of Riab Village. This valuable building dates back to the Qajar era and is estimated to be between 150 and 200 years old. Ghavamiyeh Mansion was inaugurated in 2015 as the village’s first eco-lodge and has since become a successful model of community-based tourism in Riab.
The lodge consists of five accommodation units, each preserving authentic desert architecture—including a hashti (entrance vestibule), windcatcher, veranda, basement, and domed ceilings—creating a warm and traditional atmosphere for guests. Ghavamiyeh is situated in the heart of the historic village fabric and provides easy access to attractions such as the Riab Qanat and other historic houses.
