The Alipour House, also known as Ghavamiyeh Mansion, was registered on Iran’s National Heritage List on 13 August 2005 under Registration No. 13178.
Dating back to the Qajar era (approximately 150–200 years ago), the building became the first eco-lodge in Riab Village when it opened in 2015. Its architecture includes an entrance vestibule (Hashti), a central corridor (Dalan), a central courtyard, a summer veranda, a windcatcher, a basement, and domed rooms, all designed with simple yet highly effective brickwork.
The lodge contains five accommodation units and provides employment opportunities for women and young people from the village. Ghavamiyeh Mansion is recognized as a successful model of Community-Based Tourism (CBT) in the region and hosts hundreds of domestic and international visitors each year.
Local cuisine, handicrafts, and authentic architecture form the three main elements of this experience.
